COLLEGE VISIT DATES

Tuesday, November 28th from 1:45-2:30pm the representative from South Dakota State University will be here to talk to sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

 A representative from BHSU will be here on Monday, December 4 at noon.

A representative from Presentation College will be here Thursday, December 7 at noon.

 Elks Hoop Shoot will be on Sunday, December 3rd at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 210 East Broadway in Pierre.  This contest is for boys and girls ages 8 to13.  Registration begins at 4:30 pm

 11 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS CASH:  Who doesn’t need some extra cash around the holidays?  Zoe and Halle Tvedt are fundraising for a trip to Germany next summer to play basketball with NBC camps.  Buy a raffle ticket for $10 and you will have multiple chances to win $25-$100 in cash!  Every day we will be drawing a name for cash starting from Monday, December 1st through Friday, December 15th.  As an added bonus, your name will be put back in the pot even after you win so you will continue to have the opportunity to win more than once.  Please see Zoe or Halle if you would like to purchase tickets.  Thank you for your support!

FCCLA Members, Please sign up to bring a couple dozen cookies for the Civic & Commerce/Tour of Homes event on Monday, November 27 (The Monday after Thanksgiving).  We need to have 20 dozen cookies total so even if you could bring 1 or 2 dozen that would help a lot! There is a sign-up sheet by the FACS room.  J ALSO, in need of one or two people to help be greeters at the homes for the TOUR of Homes. It would only be for 1 ½ - 2 hours and would look great for scholarships!

 This week is National Family Week sponsored by FCCLA.  Check out the Thankful Tree in the Gym.  Check out the Highmore FCCLA Chapter Facebook Page for some fun family ideas over the Thanksgiving Weekend. 

 10 RESERVED PARKING SPOTS FOR SALE AT THE HIGHMORE AUD FOR THE GBB & BBB SEASON:  The sophomore class is selling 10 reserved parking spots for the HOME Girls and Boys Basketball 2017-18 seasons.  For $125 you are guaranteed a reserved front row parking spot for approximately 18 home events at the auditorium.   This will include any district events that we might host at the end of the season.    If interested please call Ms. Jen at the school at 852-2275 or Heather McDonnell at 870-1244. 

 FCCLA is selling SUPPORT YOUR TROOPS bracelets for $2.  If you would like to buy some please go to the FACS room.
