School Information:
· FCCLA MEMBERS DOING STAR EVENTS: Mrs. Kroeplin can stay after school most days if you let her know that you would like to come work on your STAR Events. Now is the time to be getting them done. Speak with Mrs. Kroeplin anytime to let her know when you can come work.
· FCCLA MEMBERS PLANNING TO GO TO STATE MEETING APRIL 27-29: Members received an information sheet at the chapter meeting on April 3 that they were supposed to read and show to parents/guardians. A more detailed schedule will be handed out closer to state meeting.
· FCCLA Teen Teachers & Parent/Guardians: NOTE: FCCLA members who completed all requirements of the Teen Teachers Scholarship Program will receive recognition at the State FCCLA Meeting AND will be recognized and receive their certificates at Academic/Athletic Awards on Thursday, May 8. ALSO, this year there is also an OPTIONAL recognition event for Teen Teachers on Sunday, May 4 at 2:00 in Pierre at the Capitol Lakes Visitor Venter. They would be recognized with desserts to follow. Mrs. Kroeplin cannot attend that day due to a previous commitment, so we will not be going over as a school group, however, if individual Teen Teachers and their families would like to attend they will need to RSVP when the link is posted in their Teen Teachers Google Classroom. Great job to our Teen Teachers!
· Any junior boys who are interested in attending Boys State on the campus of Northern State University in Aberdeen from June 2-6, see Ms. Bergeson for more information. This is a wonderful thing to have on a resume!
· The community play: They have their first meeting on Wednesday April 9th at 5:30 PM in the East wing of the auditorium. They will hand out parts at this meeting. The practice schedule after that is as follows: April 30 & May 7, 14, 21, 28 & June 4, 11, 18.
