MEETINGS

BASEBALL MEETING – Friday after school in the gym for grades 7-12

Due to a funeral in Warner this Saturday, The Highmore-Harrold boys basketball game vs. Florence-Henry start time has changed from 1:30 to 2:30.

Most likely Highmore-Harrold will be hosting the GBB game against Edmunds Central in the opening round region play on Monday at 7:00.   

Reminder:  Every 2-3 weeks your library books need to be renewed.  Now is the time and the list is on the library door.  Stop in and renew them. Please. 

Juniors who are interested in taking the ACT in April, the registration deadline is Friday, March 9. Go to act.org to register. If you have any questions, see Ms. B.

Any junior boy interested in attending Boys State this summer go to www.southdakotaboysstate.com to register or find more information. This is a good experience and looks good on scholarship applications.

ALL JO VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS NEED TO SEE MRS. BONNICHSEN ASAP FOR PAPERWORK.

Girls State applications are due no later than Monday, February 12. Please get them turned in to Ms. B ASAP.

Any sophomore, junior, or senior student interested in applying for the Rural Electric Youth Tour 2018 please see Ms. B for applications. The tour takes you to Washington, D.C. from June 7-14. This is open to any student living in Beadle County, Hand County, or Hyde County. Applications are due March 16.

Jump Rope for Heart will be closing February 23!

National FCCLA Week is February 12-16. Highmore FCCLA will celebrate National FCCLA week by participating in the following activities:

·      Friday – Unite in Read – We ask all FCCLA supporters to wear red today.  Members will receive a cupcake today for Birthday recognition.

FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America and was first established in 1945.  FCCLA was chartered in South Dakota in 1946.  FCCLA is the only youth-led organization with the family as its central focus. This career-technical student organization prepares youth to assume adult roles in society as wage earners, community leaders, and caring family members.
