BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING MINUTES

 

March 30, 2016

High School Business Room

5:00 PM

 

    The Highmore-Harrold School Board of Education met in special session on March 30, 2016 in the High School Business Room at 5:00 pm. Members present: Michael Bollweg, Paula Haiwick, Paul Knox, Kris Rittel, Jim Stephenson, Jennifer Semmler. Clint Buchholz was absent. Others present: Superintendent Chip Sundberg, Business Manager Mark Chilson.

Members of the public present Mary Wortman, Brita Bergeson, Chelsey Poeppel, Leslie Brown, Shelby Hyde, Diane Beastrom, Vicki Tibbs-Husted, Brent Liechti, Deb Engel.

President Rittel called the meeting to order from at 5:00 pm.

The pledge of allegiance was recited.

Bollweg/Knox moved to approve the agenda. The motion passed.

    The Board held a discussion of cheer advisor and cheerleading for the 2017 school year.

    The Board held a discussion on School Nursing coverage. Semmler/Haiwick moved to approve the nursing contract as presented with Amber Carroll. The motion passed.

Buchholz entered the meeting at 5:28.pm.

    The Board held a discussion about buildings, grounds, and projected needs. The Board discussed a five-year plan of development and assessment and priorities.

            Stephenson/Knox moved to adjourn at 6:11 pm. The motion passed.
